You will serve as a Personal Support Worker, specifically assisting a female autistic client residing in a retirement home. Your role involves helping with organization, socialization, and personal care from 12 PM to 5 PM on Saturdays. Additional shifts may also be available to expand your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily care routines
- Handle meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide engaging companionship
- Accompany clients on outings and errands
- Maintain up-to-date care documentation
Requirements:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification up to date
- Police Record Check needed
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Must have reliable internet and mobile phone
