One of our manufacturing clients in GTA, ON region is looking for a Tool Maker.

Pay - $32- $35/hr

Shift - Days

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other toolroom equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and functional requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing tools and dies.
- Measure and inspect machined parts using metric and imperial measuring instruments.
- Disassemble and assemble tools and components according to design specifications.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education is preferred.
- Additional education or certification in machining is considered an asset.
- Ability to provide a personal toolbox with essential tools is preferred.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
