The Current Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a motivated Paralegal/Research Analyst in Trenton, NJ. This role focuses on real estate acquisitions and legal documentation, with a work schedule of 35 hours per week. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a Juris Doctorate and have at least two years of relevant experience.

Collaborate with the legal team to prepare essential documents and engage in property transactions while honing your analytical and legal skills. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct title searches and analyze legal instruments
- Draft acquisition contracts and closing paperwork
- Communicate with regulatory staff and attorneys
- Assist in post-closing administration tasks
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or JD
- Two years of experience in paralegal work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- New Jersey driver’s license required if applicable
