Alpine Transport and Rigging, a family-owned company within the Prairie Crane Group, is seeking an experienced Class 1A Driver to join our growing team.

We specialize in

- Flat deck transportation
- Heavy haul and over-dimensional freight
- Cross-border shipping throughout Canada and the United States

Position Overview

As a Class 1A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting flat deck and over-dimensional loads safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all permits, regulations, and company standards.

This position requires flexibility, a robust work ethic, and experience with specialized hauling.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Class 1A trucks with manual transmissions
- Transport flat deck, heavy haul, and over-dimensional loads
- Complete load securement and tarping requirements
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate documentation, including E-logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports
- Follow approved routes and transportation permits
- Assist with crane and rigging operations when required (training provided)
- Perform physical duties, including lifting up to approximately 50 lbs
- Represent the company professionally when working with customers and stakeholders

Schedule Requirements Applicants must be willing to:

- Travel out of town as required
- Work on short notice when operational needs arise
- Work occasional weekends

Qualifications





- Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience hauling over-dimensional loads (required)
- Heavy haul transportation experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of load securement practices and transportation regulations
- Comfortable using GPS systems, electronic logs, and transportation paperwork
- Solid understanding of permit requirements and route compliance
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position
- Reliable, professional, and adaptable
- Must reside in Saskatchewan
- Valid passport considered an asset for U.S. travel

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 – 70.0 per week
