Take the lead as an Underground Shift Supervisor with Barminco Mining Services at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. Manage safety protocols and operations on a FIFO rotation of 14-shifts on and 14-shifts off. This role requires a seasoned supervisor with experience in hard rock mining.
You will oversee daily activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while mentoring staff in best practices. Your leadership will be key to enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Supervise daily operations and mentor team members
- Conduct pre-shift safety and operational meetings
- Plan and coordinate mining equipment usage
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation Requirements:
- Proven experience as a development shift supervisor
- Valid BC ShiftBoss certification required
- First Aid certification and Driver’s License needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
