TRNT Educational Institute is looking for a University Admissions Consultant with experience in Canadian and/or U.S. university admissions.

This role focuses on student and parent consultation, admissions planning, client relationship management, and enrollment, while working closely with our admissions team throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities

Consultation & Enrollment

- Conduct consultations with prospective students and parents
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, target universities, intended majors, and future goals
- Identify family needs and recommend appropriate admissions planning and educational services
- Follow up with prospective families and maintain solid client relationships
- Manage the consultation-to-enrollment process, including service explanation, proposal discussion, and agreement signing
- Work toward enrollment and client conversion goals

Admissions Planning & Advising

- Develop personalized university admissions strategies for students
- Advise on university and program selection in Canada and the United States
- Provide guidance on academic planning, extracurricular activities, competitions, research, summer programs, and other profile-building opportunities
- Help students establish appropriate reach, target, and safety school strategies
- Provide ongoing strategic guidance to students and parents throughout the planning process

Application Support & Coordination





- Maintain a good understanding of Canadian and U.S. university application processes, requirements, and timelines
- Work closely with the admissions team to ensure students’ plans are properly carried through to the application stage
- Monitor key milestones and application progress
- Support communication with students and parents during significant application stages
- Assist with application-related matters when necessary

Qualifications
- Experience in university admissions consulting, education consulting, student advising, or a related field
- Good understanding of Canadian and/or U.S. undergraduate admissions
- Strong consultation, communication, and client relationship management skills
- Able to understand a student’s situation and translate it into a clear admissions strategy
- Comfortable discussing services, pricing, and enrollment with prospective families
- Results-oriented and comfortable with client conversion and signing responsibilities
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Skilled English communication skills
- Mandarin is strongly preferred
- Experience working with international students and Chinese families is an asset
