Capture professional photos of the Next Gen x RIOT activation at the CIBC Run for the Cure, highlighting participant experiences and volunteer-led activities.

Description

We’re excited to launch Next Gen, a new Canadian Cancer Society community that connects young adults (ages 19-35) with opportunities to volunteer, advocate, learn, lead, and make an impact.

To celebrate the launch, Next Gen will be activating at the CIBC Run for the Cure in Toronto alongside RIOT (Research Information Outreach Team) — a volunteer group of cancer research trainees who help make research more accessible and understandable for the public.

We're looking for a volunteer photographer to capture the energy of the activation, participant interactions, and engagement at the Next Gen x RIOT booth. Photos may be featured in future social media, marketing, volunteer recruitment, presentations, and other Next Gen and/or RIOT promotional materials.

The CIBC Run for the Cure in Toronto will be taking place on Sunday, October 4, at the University of Toronto.

What we're looking for

- ️ Experience capturing event, candid, or portrait photography
- ️ Ability to capture authentic moments, interactions, and event highlights
- ️ Must provide your own camera and photography equipment
- ️ Comfortable photographing people in a busy event setting
- ️ Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about visual storytelling

Your commitment

Attend the CIBC Run for the Cure event in Toronto on Sunday, October 4 (volunteer shift starts at 7:45 am ET)

- Approx. 2-4 hours onsite plus photo editing and file sharing after the event

Bring your own camera and photography equipment Capture photos of the activation

✨ Edit a collection of your favourite photos (preferred but not required)

Share edited photos and/or high-resolution image files with CCS
