West Coast Liquor Store Hiring - retail/wholesale Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

Retail Cashiering; Check proper identification to sell liquor, beer, and wine

Customer service includes greeting customers upon entry, waiting on customers, including but not limited to: finding items on shelves, recommending and selling merchandise to customers

Stock and face products on shelves

Cash out, balance till, complete cash out report

Follow store and government policies and regulations

Maintain the store environment including cleaning, dusting, and actions ensuring workplace safety

Receive, review and check off orders

Loss prevention skills

Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as apparent or as assigned

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age

Must be able to legally work in Canada





Must have Serving It Right certificate

Must be respectful and courteous to your co-workers and customers

Able to promote and market products, and answer customer questions regarding products

Able to read and speak fluently in English

Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic

Good cash handling skills

Previous liquor store or retail experience preferred

Position requires bending, standing, lifting, and walking constantly; long periods of time will be spent on your feet

Able to work positively within a team environment
