Overview
Looking for 2nd or 3rd year Apprentices, Journeymen/women welders, or Red Seal Journeymen/women
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products and structures, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing and construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Use MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques to join metal parts accurately and securely.
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other power tools to cut, bend, and shape metal materials.
- Set up and rig equipment safely for fabrication tasks, including handling cranes when necessary for heavy or complex assemblies.
- Measure materials with calipers, hand tools, and other precision instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Assemble fabricated components according to schematics, ensuring quality control at each stage of production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, ductwork installation, and construction activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines and machining tools.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques, crane operation, forklift handling, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication, construction experience, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety standards in manufacturing environments.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
