Join Yorkton Community Services as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in primary healthcare. This full time role demands advanced nursing skills to diagnose, prescribe, and empower community health outcomes. As a key member of the healthcare team, your advanced practice nursing will focus on holistic care and disease prevention.
You will utilize your leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills to promote health within your community while working independently and collaboratively. The role involves a consistent schedule with 11 shifts of 10 hours over three weeks, offering an exciting challenge in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient care through assessment and treatment planning
- Order diagnostic tests and prescription management
- Engage in community assessments for health promotion
- Lead inter-professional collaboration projects
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- One year of community health promotion experience
- Three years of registered nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) needed
- CRNS registration is preferred
- BCLS Level C Certification
