As a Child Advocate, you will provide critical support to children and youth attending Boost CYAC during their investigative processes.

The role involves rotating shifts, combining day and evening hours, and requires a strong understanding of trauma and crisis management. Collaboration with various professionals will ensure a holistic service approach for clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Educate and support families during investigative processes
- Welcome families and provide facility tours




- Conduct on-site and virtual check-ins for families experiencing stress
- Implement crisis intervention strategies in collaboration with the team
- Assist in court preparation and offer legal support

Requirements:

- Degree in Social Work or comparable field
- Minimum three years' relevant experience supporting trauma victims
- Proficient in anti-oppressive, culturally responsive services
- Solid awareness of trauma types and systemic issues
- Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Screening
