This position operates from 4:00 pm to midnight, Wednesday to Sunday, providing crucial assistance to residents facing homelessness and trauma. With a strong commitment to anti-oppressive practices, you will work collaboratively to offer crisis support, develop workshops, and conduct daily safety assessments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support including tokens and personal care items
- Conduct safety plans and risk assessments for all residents
- Facilitate a supportive setting through mediation skills
- Offer information and referrals for mental health and housing
- Develop and evaluate interactive workshops for residents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent
- 3-5 years in counseling focused on at-risk populations
- Proficiency in harm reduction principles
- Experience in multicultural and inclusive service delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
