Join YW Calgary as a Women's Support Partner, providing essential overnight support to women escaping domestic violence. This role involves crisis management and client-centered care from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for women and children at the shelter.

With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, you'll help navigate challenges, maintain safety, and supply needed resources while fostering respectful relationships among residents. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide client-centered, trauma-informed care
- Answer all calls on the 24-hour crisis line
- Support residents with hygiene and food supplies
- Perform safety checks and monitor security
- Maintain records and complete data entry tasks

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
- 1-3 years of related experience required
- Certify in First Aid and CPR within 6 months
- Experience in domestic violence support settings
- Solid skills in crisis intervention and empathy
