LEASE READ THIS AD IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE RESPONDING I am looking for a kind, caring, trustworthy, and compassionate female to live in and provide companionship and support for my mother, who has dementia. This would be an ideal opportunity for a PSW, nursing student, healthcare student, or someone with experience caring for seniors who genuinely enjoys spending time with and helping an elderly person. The role is primarily about companionship, supervision, and providing a warm and reassuring presence for my mother. This is not intended to be a traditional full-time nursing position. My priority is finding someone who is patient, responsible, compassionate, and will treat my mother with the same kindness, dignity, and respect they would want for their own family member. ❤️ What the role involves: Providing companionship and spending quality time with my mother Ensuring she is comfortable, safe, and not alone Helping with basic day-to-day needs and routines Preparing or assisting with simple meals when required Light household responsibilities, including weekly general cleaning/tidying of the home Being a caring and reassuring presence throughout the day/evening Helping maintain a calm, positive, and comfortable environment ? Live-In Position Please note that this is a LIVE-IN position. I understand that many PSW or nursing students have school commitments, so I am flexible with the schedule. I would ideally be looking for someone who can commit to approximately 2-3 days per week, particularly if they are attending school.



I am also available to look after my mother during the day when needed, so there is flexibility around school schedules and other commitments. We can discuss the exact schedule and arrangements based on the right person's availability. ? Dementia requires understanding, patience, and kindness, and finding someone who will become a trusted companion and friend to my mother is extremely important to me.
