Toronto, ON (Hybrid).Job ID: 26-26578Pay Range: CAD 60 - CAD 70/hour.Key Responsibilities:
Client looking for a 5+ year Murex FO Functional Consultant who understands financial products deeply and can handle pricing, valuation, P&L;, market data, curves, trade lifecycle and production/FO issues.Part of an embedment team, candidates will learn Murex application while performing the following responsibilities:Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricingValidate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)Liaise with the technical team(s) -when needed -to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancementsDevelop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come alongYield Curve management and validation;
curve assignments;
new curve creationProducts (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validationManage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverablesContribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L;, Market Data, and booking issuesAnalyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverablesContinuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globallyPerform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)Key Requirements and Technology Experience:




Very Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRDEquity derivatives knowledge. Few key instruments: Portfolio Swaps, Bond Swaps (knowledge will be a huge plus!)Very Strong understanding of the P&L; concept overall and its componentsVery Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life CycleStrong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong relationship building skills both internally and externallyStrong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues5+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module experience in financial marketsMust have a strong personality, logical and analytical skillsBe detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starterPossess positive verbal and written communication skillsBS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalentImplementations and upgradesTest managementMarket Data managementKnowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands is a plusGood understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stress-tests, back-testing)Client focus: understands clients' businesses;
