I am looking for a reliable, stable, long-term babysitter for my toddler, mainly for daycare pickup and after-daycare care near Metrotown, Burnaby. Immediate start - first shifts are next Tuesday and Thursday. Regular schedule: Every Tuesday & Thursday September hours: approximately 4:50 pm-6:50 pm Starting October: approximately 4:20 pm-6:50 pm due to a daycare change. Please only apply if you can reliably arrive for the 4:20 pm pickup starting in October. Main duties: • Pick up my toddler from daycare and safely walk him home • Give him a prepared snack/milk and change his diaper if needed • Play with him at home or at the nearby playground • Supervise him until I return home • Light household help when time permits, such as tidying his play/dining area, wiping the high chair/floor, or starting the rice cooker Childcare and safety are always the priority. The daycare and our home are both near Metrotown, and the walk from daycare to home is approximately 10-15 minutes.
