Front-End Quality Engineer — Playwright / React

We’re looking for a hands-on Front-End Quality Engineer (QE) who knows how to build automation—not just execute test scripts.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Playwright, React, and TypeScript/JavaScript, and enjoys finding issues before users do.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright

- Develop automated and manual tests for React web applications

- Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end (E2E) testing

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

- Investigate test failures, identify defects and work closely with developers and product teams

- Improve test coverage, QA processes and automation best practices

- Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to help deliver high-quality software

What You Bring

- 5+ years in Quality Engineering, Software Testing or Test Automation

- Strong hands-on Playwright experience

- Experience testing React.js applications

- Strong TypeScript and/or JavaScript skills

- Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks

- Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke and E2E testing

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have





- CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins

- API testing experience

- Cloud-based application experience

- Performance or accessibility testing

4. Explain how you would implement authentication, test fixtures, and test data management in a large Playwright/TypeScript framework.

5. Describe how you have integrated Playwright into a CI/CD pipeline and how you handle failures, screenshots, traces, and reporting.
