AZ Local Driver (Morning Shift) - Pickering, ON

Our client is looking for a reliable AZ Local Driver to support regional transportation operations based in the Pickering, Ontario area.

This full-time position offers consistent weekday work with local routes throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Durham Region, allowing drivers to return home each day without cross-border travel or overnight hauling.

Responsibilities

- Operate AZ-class vehicles for local transportation within the GTA and Durham Region
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
- Perform local pickups, deliveries, and yard moves as required
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and delivery updates

Qualifications

- Valid AZ (Class 1) driver’s licence
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR record
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Comfortable working 8–12 hour shifts
- Solid commitment to safety and regulatory compliance




- Reliable transportation to and from the Pickering yard
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Local driving experience is considered an asset
