About the Position

CNTautomation is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to prepare specialized technical equipment for sale online.

You’ll work with a wide variety of interesting equipment including laser scanners and thermal cameras to advanced electrical and fibre-optic testing instruments. You’ll be responsible for transforming each item from the condition we receive it in into a clean, professionally photographed product ready to be sold worldwide.

This is a great position for someone who enjoys hands-on work, photography and seeing the finished result of their efforts. You’ll work independently, follow a clear process and develop useful skills in product photography, Adobe Lightroom and e-commerce.

What You’ll Do

- Thoroughly clean and detail used technical equipment
- Carefully clean controls, screens, connectors and accessories
- Arrange equipment into skilled-looking product displays
- Photograph equipment, accessories, labels and condition details
- Edit, crop and organize photos using Adobe Lightroom
- Identify model numbers, and included accessories
- Create clear and accurate online product listings
- Keep equipment, accessories and photos properly organized
- Work efficiently while maintaining a consistent standard of quality

- Experience with Adobe Lightroom or similar editing software

Experience with product photography, online listings or industrial equipment is helpful, but not required. Training will be provided.

Important to Know

Detailed cleaning is a significant part of this position. Some equipment arrives heavily used and may require thorough scrubbing for extended periods. The right person will find satisfaction in restoring each item’s appearance and preparing it to be professionally presented for sale.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
