We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shingle Installer or General Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful installation of roofing shingles and supporting various construction tasks. Looking for someone to start right away and finish out the 2026 season

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of roofing shingles, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and utility knives to perform various tasks efficiently and safely
- Support the construction team with general labour duties including material handling, site clean-up, and preparation of work areas
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support ongoing construction activities
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of roofing systems




- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and machinery

Requirements

- Prior experience with construction work, roofing, or carpentry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic building techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards on-site
- Handyman experience or general labour skills are a plus
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team workplace
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities as needed
- Drivers License required

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 44.0 per week
