Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
- Prepare and develop civil engineering drawings, plans, profiles, details, and construction documents for municipal, land development, transportation, and infrastructure projects;
- Complete civil design and drafting assignments using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software under the direction of Engineers and Project Managers;
- Support preliminary design, detailed design, and engineering studies for a variety of civil engineering projects;
- Assist with project coordination activities, including scheduling, documentation, communication, and coordination with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders;
- Perform field inspections, construction reviews, site visits, and construction administration activities as required;
- Collect field information through site measurements, existing-condition surveys, GPS equipment, and other survey tools to support project design and delivery;
- Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, quantity take-offs, field notes, and project documentation;
- Collaborate with Engineers, Technologists, Project Managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to support successful project delivery;
- Contribute to problem-solving during design and construction by identifying practical and effective solutions;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety culture in all aspects of the work.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline;
- 1+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering, consulting engineering, municipal infrastructure, land development, or construction projects;
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD;
- Experience preparing civil drawings, construction documents, plans, profiles, and technical deliverables;
- Experience with field inspections, construction administration, field reviews, and site investigations would be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge of survey practices, GPS equipment, and field data collection techniques;
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents;
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both office and field environments;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary consulting team;
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
