Security Guard

We are seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to support safety and security operations at Ashcroft Terminal site. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in high-compliance environments.

We offer $1,000 signing bonus to those who will be hired from August 19, 2026 to September 10, 2026. Terms and conditions apply.

Responsibilities

- Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.




- Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
- Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
- Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
- Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.

Qualifications

- Valid BC Security License
- Basic First Aid Training or willing to obtain
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute to the work site
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with access control systems and CCTV
- Ability to pass background and site-specific clearances
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
