Duties
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve seamless surfaces
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections promptly and accurately
- Apply caulking around seams and fixtures to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Coordinate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of construction painting, caulking, and general carpentry skills
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various trades
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in various positions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Must have Whims,Fall protection certificates
