General Manager — Canada Operations

MCL McGill Carriers Ltd. is an established Canadian automotive transportation and car-hauling company with five terminals across Canada. We provide safe, efficient, and reliable finished-vehicle transportation while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Following our acquisition by Proficient Auto Logistics, Inc. (PAL), a U.S.-based publicly traded company, MCL is entering an exciting new phase of growth and development. We remain proudly Canadian while gaining access to the resources, capabilities, and opportunities of a leading North American automotive transportation and logistics organization.

PAL combines nine industry-leading operating companies and operates the largest auto transportation fleet in North America. With more than 90 terminal locations and over 1,650 employees—most of whom are drivers—PAL transports finished vehicles from automotive production facilities, marine ports of entry, and regional rail yards to dealerships across North America. Its scale, extensive geographic coverage, and established relationships with leading automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) provide a strong platform for continued growth and service excellence.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead MCL’s Canadian operations and provide strategic and operational leadership across our five-terminal network. This senior management position is accountable for the overall operational, financial, safety, regulatory, customer, and people performance of the Canadian business.

At MCL, safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do. This is a unique opportunity to lead a close-knit Canadian team, shape the next chapter of our business, and make a meaningful impact within a growing North American organization where leadership, expertise, and results are valued.

Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, strategic execution, and operational performance of the Company’s Canada footprint and serves as the market leader for customer, employee and vendor interaction.
