Job Summary
The Grounds Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. This position involves a variety of tasks related to hedge trimming, trees pruning and clean up. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools to effectively perform the required duties.

Duties

- Assist with hedge trimming, trees pruning and clean up
- Operate heavy machinery such as chipper and stump grinder
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Ability to perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Build and maintain garden beds
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all equipment is stored properly after use.

Requirements

- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating power tools such as lawnmowers, line-trimmers, and blowers.
- Familiarity with operating power tools such as hedge trimmers,



and chain saws
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Solid mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
- Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.

This position is essential for enhancing the beauty of our outdoor environments while ensuring their functionality through diligent maintenance practices.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
