Job Overview

We’re looking for a Development & Data Team Manager to lead our software development and data function and help shape the technology that supports our growing organization.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can combine technical expertise, people leadership, and business thinking.

You’ll lead our development and data team, oversee critical applications and data systems, drive automation and process improvements, and work directly with leadership to turn business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Technology & Development

- Lead the development and continuous improvement of business applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and internal systems
- Define and maintain technical architecture, development standards, and best practices
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable
- Provide technical direction, code and architecture guidance, and mentorship to the development team
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities for automation, AI, and process improvement
- Foster leadership within the team by mentoring developers on Java, C#, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SharePoint integration, APIs development, and application development best practices.
- Collaborate with product management to translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining high standards of quality.

Data & Analytics

- Lead data architecture, databases, data pipelines, reporting,



and analytics initiatives
- Improve data quality, accessibility, and reliability
- Develop solutions that turn business data into actionable insights
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to use data to improve business performance
- Automate manual reporting and business processes where possible

Project & Operations Management

- Manage projects from requirements and planning through development, deployment, and support
- Lead sprint planning, prioritization, estimation, and delivery
- Manage resources, timelines, priorities, and technical risks
- Troubleshoot and oversee resolution of critical technical issues
- Establish effective Agile/Scrum processes and continuously improve team workflows

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop developers and data team members
- Conduct regular 1-on-1s, coaching, and performance discussions
- Set clear expectations for quality, accountability, and delivery
- Assign work and manage team capacity according to business priorities
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development
- Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Business & Strategy

- Partner with leadership to translate business requirements into technology solutions
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation
- Recommend technology investments and priorities
- Establish documentation, security, development, and operational standards




- Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of experience leading software development, data engineering, or technical teams
- Strong experience in software development, full-stack development, databases, or data architecture
- Experience managing technical projects and development teams
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, integrations, security, and scalability
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing organization

Experience with:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in software development using C++, Java, and JavaScript.
- Previous experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and implementation.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
