Overview

Join our Walk-In Clinic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients, register patients to be seen, and support the on-call Doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and seniors, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Conduct patient assessments, Triage, obtain vitals, perform ear syringing, STI treatment, injections, suture removals, TB testing, wound care or other tasks as asked by the doctor.
- Assist with procedures (removals, sutures, wound care, etc.)
- Perform activities such as coordinating services and facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, and best practice guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards

Qualifications





- Current registration as an RN or RPN with CNO
- Proven experience with acute care expertise
- Strong familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, taking vitals, nursing procedures, suture removal, ear syringing, wound care, injections
- Experience working with pediatric and senior populations
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and critical thinking skills

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 30.0 per week
