Responsibilities

- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with efficiency and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
- Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.
- Support the dental team with sterilization procedures, inventory management,



and general office duties as needed.

Skills

- Proficiency with dental software systems like Dentrix for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry to effectively serve diverse patient needs.
- Perform thorough periodontal assessments, scaling, root planning, and selective polishing.
- Deliver individualized oral health education and preventative care plans.
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with a broader patient demographic are highly valued.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.

Pay: $48.00-$53.00 per hour
