We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to provide on-site medical support and emergency response services at industrial and oil and gas project sites throughout Alberta. The PCP plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment by delivering immediate medical care, assisting with incident response, and supporting overall site safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Medical Response
- Provide immediate medical assessment, treatment, and
stabilization for injured or ill personnel
- Respond to workplace incidents, emergencies, and medical calls
- Coordinate with external emergency services when advanced
medical care or transportation is required
- Maintain readiness to respond quickly to emergencies at all
times
Safety Support
- Assist with site safety monitoring and hazard identification
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident
investigations
- Promote protected work practices and compliance with company
safety procedures
- Support site emergency preparedness plans and response
protocols
Medical Equipment Management
- Maintain and inspect all medical kits, supplies, and emergency
response equipment
- Ensure all equipment is properly stocked, maintained,
and ready
for use
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient care and incident
documentation
Training & Compliance
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety exercises
- Maintain required certifications and ensure training remains
current
- Complete company required training programs and site
orientations
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Rotational work schedules depending on project requirements.
- Remote project locations across Alberta and Western Canada.
- Exposure to outdoor environments and industrial worksite
conditions.
- Long shifts (typically 10–12 hours) in physically demanding
settings.
Requirements
- Valid Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) certification.
- Current registration/license with the provincial regulatory body
- Valid AED & CPR certification.
- Valid H2S Alive certification.
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work rotational shifts at remote industrial sites.
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
