Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

- 2-4 years of Security System Installation Experience
- Must have experience with Genetec Access and Video platform
- Service, install, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance and inspections on Integrated Security products including Access Control, CCTV, EAS and Intrusion Systems.
- Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
- Work on customers networks.
- Testing and commissioning of systems.
- Training of the end user.
- Complete other duties and task as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Some travel and overnight / off hours work may be required.

Qualifications:

- Minimum requirement – high school diploma, ideal candidate will also have a technical-related certificate or diploma from a post-secondary institution and a minimum of 2 years of industry experience
- Must be computer literate. Basic network systems understanding an asset
- Possess a mechanical aptitude and be able to use hand and power tools




- Cable pulling experience
- Fluent English language written and verbal skills, demonstrated superior people and telephone skills, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential
- The ability to meet deadlines and commitments and to adjust/adapt to recent ideas and procedures is necessary
- Must possess and maintain a valid G driver's license with a clean abstract
- Must be bondable, a criminal record check is required
- Working at Heights training certification is an asset.

Working Conditions and Physical Ability:

- Ability to work at heights on lifts and ladders as required.
- Ability to perform tasks above shoulder level sometimes for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs. IE. Boxes of cable, ladders and products as required.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach frequently or for extended periods
- Ability to sit while driving in a vehicle, for extended periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
