We current have an opportunity for a full-time Machinist Grinder to join our PCC Brampton Ontario Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.

***Midnight Shift*** ( training on Day shift)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Grind and/or superfinish parts to drawing requirements.
- Inspect parts for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure they conform to quality standards.
- Select machine tooling to be used in machine operation, utilize knowledge of machine and production requirements.
- Maintain all grinding equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow the company Health and Safety Policy and practice safe working habits, industrial hygiene and valuable housekeeping around benches and machines.
- Participate in Kaizen events & 6S initiatives
- All other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Competencies:

- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Ability to setup grinding equipment.
- Ability to read blue prints.

Ability to use measuring instrument and equipment ( micrometer, snap gauge,



roughness tester)

- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance.
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Experience in the aerospace industry an asset

To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the company is registered in the Controlled Goods Program and as such the successful candidate will be required to complete a security assessment in order to access Controlled Goods
