Calgary Integrative Medicine is seeking a skilled and personable Manual Osteopath to join our collaborative healthcare team.
This opportunity would be particularly well suited to an osteopath who has an existing or developing patient base and is interested in continuing to grow their practice within an established multidisciplinary clinic. Our clinic will support the successful candidate through internal referrals, cross-referrals from practitioners, and inclusion in appropriate clinic marketing. We are also looking for someone who is motivated to build professional relationships, promote their services, and actively participate in developing their own caseload.
The ideal candidate provides thoughtful, individualized care and values working alongside other healthcare professionals in a welcoming and patient-centred environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide manual osteopathic treatment for musculoskeletal concerns
- Educate patients about movement, posture, preventive care, and relevant lifestyle strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Collaborate and communicate with other practitioners when appropriate
- Build lasting professional relationships with patients and referral partners
- Participate in clinic marketing and practice-building initiatives
- Contribute positively to the clinic’s collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Manual Osteopathy from a recognized institution
- Current membership or eligibility for membership with a recognized qualified association
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong manual assessment and treatment skills
- Commitment to professional, ethical, and patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- An existing or developing patient base is preferred
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinic is an asset
- Familiarity with Jane electronic health records is an asset
- Training or experience in pediatric osteopathy is an asset
