Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Assistant to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be the vital link ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility. Your energetic approach will help maintain accurate inventory levels, facilitate timely shipments, and support overall operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in ERP systems, order fulfillment and packaging, and logistics processes while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and process inbound shipments by verifying delivery details, inspecting packages, and recording receipt in our ERP system.
- Efficiently load and unload trucks using a forklift or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Organize and store received inventory accurately within designated locations, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for easy retrieval.
- Pack, and prepare outgoing orders with precision to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities, including updating the ERP system.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy across the warehouse distribution network.




- Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency in operations.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, and load & unload procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, and inventory control tools.
- Experience packing large pallets with different shaped products, and securing for open deck delivery.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for packaging, labeling, and documentation accuracy.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors in a quick-paced environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
