We are hiring a Learning & Development Specialist on behalf of our client to support the development and delivery of training for a large, complex organization.

This position is ideal for an experienced learning professional who can assess training needs, develop practical learning materials, facilitate training sessions, and work with multiple stakeholders to support the successful adoption of new systems, processes, and tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess training needs for different roles and audiences.
- Develop instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and self-guided training materials.
- Create job aids, reference guides, videos, and other learning resources.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements and review content.
- Update training materials and evaluate effectiveness based on learner feedback and results.

Job Requirements

- Degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field plus 2 years of related experience; or
- Related diploma plus 4 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience conducting training needs analysis and gathering learning requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing and developing training materials.
- Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training.

The following experience would be considered an asset:





- ERP or enterprise systems training
- WalkMe or similar digital adoption tools
- Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond, or Adobe tools
- Training evaluation and learner feedback analysis
- AI tools used for instructional design or content development

This position is fully in-person in downtown Edmonton and requires availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM.

The successful candidate will be an organized and adaptable learning skilled with strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex information into practical, user-friendly training.
