Dental Receptionist – Two Locations (College St & Bloor St W)

We're looking for an experienced, tech-savvy Dental Receptionist to join our busy dental team across two convenient Toronto locations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for patient care, we'd love to hear from you!

Schedule:

- Monday & Friday: 564 College St
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 608 Bloor St W
- 2 Saturdays per month (College St location) -- NON NEGOTIABLE
- Must be available to work evenings

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Manage a high-volume, fast-paced front desk
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Answer and direct incoming calls using Mango VOIP
- Manage patient records and scheduling in Oryx Dental Software
- Process payments, insurance claims, and billing inquiries
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Submit and follow up on insurance predeterminations and claims
- Maintain and update patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate recall/hygiene appointment reminders
- Manage the daily schedule to minimize gaps and no-shows
- Communicate with dental team regarding patient needs and schedule changes
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and welcoming front office/waiting area
- Order and track office/administrative supplies as needed
- Coordinate scheduling and communication between both clinic locations
- Assist with new patient intake paperwork and onboarding
- Support opening/closing front desk duties as required

Requirements:

- Previous dental administrative/receptionist experience required
- Comfortable learning and using phone/VOIP systems (Mango VOIP)
- Strong tech skills and ability to multitask in a busy office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to commute to both College St and Bloor St W locations
- Flexible availability including evenings and alternating Saturdays
