Michele's Landscaping Inc. is looking for qualified, landscaping persons for commercial landscape construction to start immediately.

JOB DUTIES

- Lay sod, spread soil, plant shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of landscape and related structures
- Cut grass, rake, aerate, dethatch, fertilize and water lawns, weed, prune shrubs and trees and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor
- Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
- Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
- Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease




- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

PHYSICALLY DEMANDING

- Handling material manually
- Standing
- Making repetitive motions
- Walking and running
- Bending or twisting the body

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in landscaping 1-3 years, commercial landscaping an asset
- Works well within a team

OFFERING:

- Full time work

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License (required)
