You'll work closely with our team and carrier partners to deliver thoughtful, consistent service. The goal is simple: help our clients feel confident, supported, so they can focus on what they do best.

This is a relationship-focused role where accuracy, follow-through, and care really matter.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Management

- Act as a reliable point of contact for client questions, either handling requests directly or coordinating with carriers and internal team members
- Maintain regular contact with clients to provide proactive, consistent service — both virtually and in person
- Support employee meetings and information sessions when needed
- Review client accounts and relationships, recommending ways to enhance value based on an understanding of their business and industry trends

Day-to-Day Administration

- Assist clients with service issues that arise from day-to-day benefits administration
- Follow up with insurance carriers on client inquiries, billing questions, and claim status to help move things forward in a timely way
- Create clear, easy-to-understand member communications for plan changes, coverage increases, and other updates
- Assist with onboarding new clients by gathering enrolment and underwriting information and coordinating with carriers to ensure plans are set up correctly

Strategic Advice & Reporting

- Provide service and strategic advice to a range of small to mid-market clients across various industries
- Provide analysis of clients' financial arrangements and claims experience, and prepare and present reports and recommendations related to group benefit projects
- Provide technical advice and expertise to clients regarding plan design recommendations, costings, renewals, and industry changes
- Write and deliver presentations and communications to existing and prospective clients that are thorough, powerful, and persuasive

Business Support & Collaboration

- Meet with prospective clients, analyzing policy details, preparing reports, negotiating with insurance carriers, and overseeing the implementation process
- Establish strong working relationships internally with consultants and the service team to collaborate and partner on projects
- Recommend new approaches to work processes and develop innovative ideas for continuous process improvement

Professional Development

- Participate in webinars and training to stay current on products, trends, and best practices

- Clear, calm communication style — especially when dealing with sensitive or complex situations
- A solutions-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- A collaborative team player who values doing things right and doing them consistently
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle

Education

- A Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent years of industry experience
