Our client is a growing engineering company operating across the UK, US, and Canada that designs and manufactures advanced suspension systems for military vehicles and off-highway machines used in construction, mining, forestry, and agriculture. They are seeking a leader to join the team as a Control Systems Engineer in Brampton, ON.
The Role:
Join a Mobility Systems Development team building cutting-edge electromechanical control systems that improve vehicle performance. You'll develop and validate control strategies across customer projects and R&D; initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate control models and plant models (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
- Support SIL/PIL/HIL testing and embedded systems development
- Lead design reviews, technical documentation, and test planning
- Conduct in-house testing and on-vehicle commissioning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years in control systems development
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape and model-based design
- Experience with ECUs (e.g., TTControl), Git, and J1939 CAN
- Bonus: ISO 26262, C/C++, defense/aerospace background
