Job Summary:

The Print & Pre-Flight Operator reviews files generated by clients to ensure that proper format, appearance and layout of text and images are set before the files are sent to print. This position sets the foundation for successful print production. They work with other staff members to meet and exceed customer expectations and schedule the client’s timeline expectations. As a Print & Pre-Flight Operator you are accountable for meeting the department production and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in customer satisfaction goals.

Major Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate with Managers and Supervisors to produce and prioritize jobs
- Read and properly execute detailed job ticket instructions
- Setup and pre-flight customer files for printing
- Maintain conformance to company established quality and production standards
- Trouble-shoot rip and proof problems
- Be aware and capable of all calibration procedures
- Respond to customer inquiries




- Follow established company systems and procedures
- Responsible for operating print equipment
- Able to work with tight deadlines
- Keep manufacturing areas neat, clean, and orderly
- Take an active role in quality management and process improvement
