Responsibilities

- Review and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to develop exact construction estimates using software like HeavyBid or similar tools.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam to organize project documentation, track progress, and facilitate communication across teams.
- Prepare and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools, ensuring timely completion of pre-construction milestones.
- Coordinate with civil engineers and design professionals to review site plans using Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
- Assist in procurement activities by sourcing materials, reviewing bids, and supporting cost analysis efforts.
- Maintain meticulous records of all pre-construction activities,



including schematics, plans, permits, and correspondence.
- Support project management teams by ensuring all pre-construction tasks are completed efficiently, enabling a smooth transition into the construction phase.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or civil engineering environments with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or comparable programs.
- Familiarity with project management tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of construction management software systems for document control and scheduling.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
