Action Group is seeking a motivated and highly organized individual to join our team as a Full-Time Program Coordinator to provide support for children with disabilities and their families. The PC position supports staff to provide services as funded by the FSCD program. This involves supervising and training staff in order to ensure quality service delivery. Additional duties include corresponding and working with guardians and stakeholders as well as administrative duties. Our Family Services PCs thrive in an ever-changing environment and have a versatile schedule to meet client needs. This position is out of the Red Deer office.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Experience training, and supervising staff
- Confident managing a caseload of clients
- Excellent communication skills with staff and families
- Comfortable working closely with a team as well as independently

Requirements:

- 2 year Diploma in the Human Services field
- 3+ years working with developmental disabilities
- Strong computer and administrative skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Webmail)




- Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Check
- Valid driver's license/own insured vehicle
- Have/be willing to obtain First Aid Emergency Level (C)

Opportunities:

- Rate of Pay: starting $26.63 per hour - 40 hours per week, flex to meet program needs. Typically daytime hours.
- RRSP and TFSA eligibility for agency matching contributions after 2 years
- Position qualifies for group benefits at 6 months
