The Menopause Practice Inc is a dynamic and forward-thinking clinic specializing in menopausal care, hormone replacement, weight management, and PCOS support. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to support our Nurse Practitioners in delivering exceptional care to our patients. This is a part-time position working 9am-5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-up communications
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient consultations
- Assist Nurse Practitioners during patient exams and procedures when necessary
- Collect and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, processing forms, and managing inventory of medical supplies
- Coordinate patient referrals, test bookings, and follow-ups as directed by the healthcare team
- Assist in processing patient billing and insurance claims
- Support the clinic’s daily operations and ensure smooth workflow within the team
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to discussions aimed at improving clinic efficiency
-Ability to work Saturdays and evenings
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma from a recognized Medical Office Assistant program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical office software (e.g., Accuro)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of menopausal care, hormone replacement therapy, or women’s health is an asset but not required
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adherence to clinic policies and
regulations
