About the Role

This is a high-volume L-1 processing role at a busy immigration practice. You will own petitions from intake through filing, drafting L-1A and L-1B support letters yourself, building managerial capacity and specialized knowledge arguments, and carrying a full caseload under real deadline pressure.

The ideal candidate has three or more years of hands-on US business immigration experience with L-1 as a genuine core of the work, not a side assignment. You draft, you argue, you respond to RFEs, and you keep cases moving without needing to be chased. You are based in Canada, authorized to work here, and ready to go within about two weeks.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft L-1A and L-1B petitions end to end, including attorney support letters
- Build managerial capacity and specialized knowledge arguments and pull the supporting evidence for each
- Prepare Forms I-129 and I-129S for both individual and blanket L filings
- Run document collection with beneficiaries, HR contacts, and company stakeholders
- Draft RFE responses and flag risk on files before they go out the door
- Review packages for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
- Keep case status, filing deadlines,



and expiry dates current in the case management system

Required Skills & Experience

- 3 or more years of US business immigration experience with L-1 as a core part of the work
- Hands-on support letter drafting (not just exhibit assembly)
- Experience with both individual and blanket L filings
- Proficiency in a case management platform such as INSZoom, LawLogix Edge, Docketwise, Tracker, Mitratech, or similar
- Located in Canada and authorized to work here
- Available to start within approximately two weeks

Preferred Skills

- Experience with recent office L-1A petitions
- L-1B specialized knowledge RFE responses
- Exposure to H-1B, TN, O-1, or E-2 matters

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

- L1A petitions: 3 years (preferred)
- Business Immigration with L-1: 3 years (required)

- L-1B specialized knowledge RFE responses: 3 years (preferred)
