Position

- Full time
- Location: Lac-Rapide, Quebec
- Remote/isolated community nursing
- Day shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call may be required

Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care to patients in the community
- Assess patients and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up
- Provide health education and disease-prevention services
- Support patients with acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform mental health assessments and referrals when required
- Work independently and with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements

- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in QUEBEC
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Experience in community health, primary care, emergency/urgent care, acute care, or intensive care
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently in a remote community
- English required
- French required

Required Certifications (MUST)

- CPR/BLS
- PALS
- ACLS
- ITLS
- WHMIS
- TDG
- Quebec Immunization Protocol (PIQ) training
- FNIHB Controlled Substances Nursing Education Module

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with 2+ years of experience who is interested in travel nursing and providing healthcare services in a remote First Nations community.

Pay: $80.00 per hour

- Fly-In/Fly-Out Position

Are you willing to work on a fly-in/fly-out schedule?

The work schedule may include:
15 days on / 15 days off, or
20 days on / followed by a rest period, then return to work
This position requires flexibility and the ability to work in a remote and isolated community for the duration of each assignment.

- Do you have a valid driver license in Quebec?
- Do you have a minimum of 2 years of experience or 3000hrs work as a nurse in CANADA? (must)
