ProCast Technologies is a producer of aluminum and zinc castings from the permanent mold process. We are currently seeking permanent mold casters for our evening shift (3:45pm - 1:45am). No experience necessary.
Primary Duties
- Pour metal in molds using a hand ladle
- Follow process sheets for procedures running permanent mold casting machines
- Regulate and monitor furnace temperatures
- Visually inspect castings for defects
- Sawing and Sanding of castings
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Complete paperwork
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong team skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Basic math skills
- Able to work in a hot environment
- Able to stand for 9 hours a day
