Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented JM Pipefitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components with precision and adherence to blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including ductwork, structural steel, and mechanical assemblies, contributing to high-quality manufacturing processes. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in welding and fitting, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to cut, shape, tack and assemble metal parts accurately.
- Operate plasma cutting equipment
- Rigging components safely using cranes or forklifts for lifting and positioning heavy materials or assemblies.
- Conduct machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for assembly or welding.
- Assist in the assembly of structural frameworks, or mechanical systems according to schematics.




- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and material handling.
- Perform routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in rigging, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with schematics and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.
- Certification in welding or rigging is a plus but not required; relevant experience is essential.

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
