Part-Time Math Tutor / Instructor (Elementary to High School)

About Us

We are an established, small-group specialized math academy located in Markham. For years, we have been dedicated to helping local students achieve academic excellence. We are seeking passionate and energetic instructors who love teaching to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver clear, step-by-step instruction on math concepts and problem-solving techniques.

Lead small group classes, 1-on-1 private tutoring, in-person sessions, and/or online lessons (class formats determined upon discussion).

Track student progress, manage learning outcomes, and provide supportive feedback during Q&A.;

Teach curriculum ranging from Elementary to High School level math:

Grade 1 – Grade 8 Mathematics

Grade 9 – Grade 12 High School Math (including Functions, Advanced Functions, and Calculus & Vectors)

Qualifications & Requirements

Current university/college students, graduates, or experienced instructors with a background in Mathematics, Science,



Engineering, or related fields.

Ability to deliver both group lessons and tailored 1-on-1 instruction.

Passionate, patient, and dedicated to student growth.

Bilingual in English and Korean is considered a strong asset.

Position Details

Location: Thornhill, ON (John St & Leslie St area)

Schedule: Part time (Hours and days negotiated upon hire)

Weekdays: 4:20 PM – 6:00 PM / 6:20 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturdays: Morning and afternoon shifts available

Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications (discussed during the interview).
