Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Greenhouse Manager to lead the daily operations and overall maintenance of our greenhouse facility. In this dynamic role, you will oversee plant cultivation, ensure optimal environmental conditions, and coordinate team efforts to produce healthy, thriving plants. Your expertise in horticulture, mechanical systems, and irrigation will be essential in creating an efficient and sustainable growing environment. Responsibilities

- Manage daily greenhouse operations, including planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting plants with precision and care
- Oversee irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Maintain optimal environmental conditions by adjusting temperature, humidity, and lighting controls
- Conduct regular inspections of greenhouse structures, mechanical equipment, and tools to ensure safety and functionality
- Support team members through training on horticultural techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Perform lifting when handling plants,



or equipment to maintain a safe workspace
- Keep detailed records of plant growth stages, environmental data, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes

Experience

- Proven experience in horticulture or greenhouse management with a strong understanding of plant cultivation techniques
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, mechanical systems, and basic troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with gardening practices and the use of hand tools for maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Basic math skills, and recording data accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and task management
- Excel spreadsheet knowledge an asset

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
