**Job Title: Production Worker – Stacking and Assembly**
**Job Description**
This production role focuses on stacking and assembly work to support the manufacturing of high‑quality power distribution components, including harmonic filters, transformers, auto‑transformers, and data center power distribution equipment.
You will work from blueprints and diagrams to cut, assemble, and secure metal cores, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of advanced power quality improvement products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret and work from blueprints and diagrams to understand product specifications and assembly requirements.
+ Cut metal pieces to precise lengths using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
+ Use table clamps and other fixtures to securely hold components in place during assembly.
+ Assemble both small and large core units by stacking metal pieces together according to defined procedures.
+ Apply epoxy to bond stacked metal cores to their bases, ensuring proper adhesion and structural integrity.
+ Use temporary tape and other methods to hold units together during various stages of the assembly process.
+ Operate hand tools and power tools, including hammers and shears, to align cores and ensure components are properly fitted.
+ Work as part of a team on the plant floor to assemble core products used in power distribution units.
+ Follow established production workflows to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring materials and tools are used and stored safely.
+ Collaborate with team members and remain open to learning the electrical aspects of the role as needed.
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while working with tools, equipment, and materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, machine operation, or general production work.
+ At least 1 year of experience reading and working from blueprints and technical diagrams.
+ Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to understand basic principles related to core assembly and power distribution components.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as hammers, shears, and clamps in a production environment.
+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and work processes accurately and consistently.
+ Comfort working in a small team environment on a plant floor and contributing to shared production goals.

+ Willingness to learn and develop additional electrical knowledge related to power distribution equipment.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production setting while maintaining attention to detail.
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

The facility has good lighting and a slightly dusty atmosphere typical of a production environment.
You will work in close‑knit teams assembling core products for power distribution units, and you should be comfortable in a smaller, team‑oriented setting focused on hands‑on mechanical and electrical tasks.
Typical attire is practical, work‑appropriate clothing suitable for a manufacturing floor and the use of hand and power tools.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Brampton,ON.
