Industrial Applicator Job Description

Maxfield is a progressive, experienced and leading manufacturer well known for its high-quality products. This includes design, engineering, fabrication, packaging and servicing a range of pressure vessels, pipe spooling, structural skids and cargo transports. Maxfield also services the truck and transport, natural resources (oil and natural gas, and mining), propane distribution and marketing, power generation and cryogenic industries across Canada.

Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain sandblasting and coating equipment to job specifications associated with sanding, substrate surface preparation, and abrasive blasting

· Adequately protect and mask sandblasting and coating work areas

· Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with Maxfield’s policies and procedures

· Ability to identify hazards

· General labor tasks as required

· Overtime as required

Qualifications:





· Minimum 2 years of experience with industrial sandblasting

· Experience with tank sandblasting and coating will be considered an asset

· Experience with rigging and operating overhead cranes will be considered an asset

· Experience with confined space and working at heights will be considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to participate positively

· Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $28.09 per hour
